About
So, what’s all this about then. First off, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jens Ode, born 1973 in the southern part of Sweden. As the son of an artist, Petter Pettersson (amongst others represented at the Nationalmuseum), I was raised in an environment of art and paintings. The major part of my brothers and sisters turned into artists – however I never really became a friend of pen and paper. Instead I realized that I could express my artistic veins using a computer instead – it was a great tool to combine logic and creativity.
When I started to study at the University of Lund I decided to stay clear of computer courses. It’s better to broaden the mind and get a better picture of the world was my philosophy. Thus I have studied Economics, Political Science, Marketing, and Statistics among others. Today I’m glad for that decision because it has given me a better position to get the big picture. The combination of an artists veins, a logical mind and a broad education makes todays web environment a fun place to be.
I have worked with the web and digital marketing for the last ten years, both on the creative side as well as on the technical side. The digital market gets increasingly more complex but also more and more fun. This place is the basecamp for my ideas on what I do and what goes on when it comes to digital marketing.
I work with the company Omegapoint as an all-over-the-place guy. I have never been able to give myself a good job title since I’ve always been involved in the most areas of projects, but some sort of a combination of Creative Director/Senior Programmer/Project Manager/Copywriter-thingy. Sort of.
